Freedom Embarks On First West Coast Tour
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. - (September 28, 2010) - Freedom are set to embark on their first West Coast tour. Starting this weekend on October 1, 2010, Freedom will begin their 11-day tour of the West Coast in Pomona, California. From there, the group will hit up such cities and locations as the Kern County Fair (outside Bakersfield, California), Fresno, and Fair Oaks, California before heading north where they will appearing in multiple venues in Oregon and Washington state.

John Rulapaugh of Freedom said, "I'm really excited to be headed west to sing in California, Oregon, and Washington. It's been a few years since the last time I was there with Palmetto State Quartet, and I've missed it! My first trip west was with the Dove Brothers back in 1999 or 2000, and I was privileged to travel there every year until I left the road in 2008. I'm excited to be bringing Freedom to the West! I look forward to seeing old friends, and hope to make a lot of new friends along the way."

The tour will run October 1st through October 10th, 2010, and comes on the heels of the group's first appearance at the National Quartet Convention where the group was asked to perform on the Main Stage.

Freedom's schedule has already filled up this year including recent performances at industry events like the Suwanee River Jubilee, Branson Gospel Music Convention, 11th Annual SGN Music Fest, Grand Ole Gospel Reunion, and World Premier Gospel Event in Pigeon Forge, TN. The group records for Homeland Entertainment's Riversong Records and just released their debut recording - Freedom - earlier this year.
