Marsha Lambeth's Bio

Marsha Lambeth certainly began her broadcasting career with a bang. On the first day of classes in broadcasting, she walked in for her first shift at KACC radio in August of 1983...that very day, Hurricane Alicia slammed into the Texas Gulf Coast, marched right up I-45 and roared directly over that little college radio station in Alvin. Looking back on that fateful day, Marsha said, "I knew I made the right choice, because I loved every scary moment of that night - broadcasting storm coordinates from under the news desk!"

For more than 25 years you've heard Marsha on the Houston airwaves, from KILT to KTEK and KSBJ. In 1988, Salem Broadcasting brought Marsha to KKHT. With her years as an air personality and as a programming manager in Christian broadcasting, she was the perfect fit for mid-days. She delivers a warm, friendly style that our listeners really relate to.

Marsha has been a leader in the radio business, receiving numerous broadcasting awards. But Marsha's proudest achievement is that throughout her radio career, she has touched lives. When asked why she was drawn to a career in radio broadcast, she answered, "I wanted to make a difference in people's lives." And that's just what she does every day on 100.7 The Word KKHT.
