Which Bible translation is best?
Brought to you by Christianity.com

In Christian circles there is a debate about what translation is "the best."  Defining “the best” is a debate in and of itself.  Whatever translation you prefer to read, you should use several translations in your studying.

The NASB is a good translation for word studies because it the closest translation to original languages.  Many study tools are keyed to the KJV, and so it is useful to have. The NIV often captures the thought of a passage.  For reading many prefer translations written closer to every day language like the NLT or the Message.

Many translations can be found Christianity.com under Bible Study Tools.
