“God rest ye merry gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our Savior
Was born on Christmas Day”

The Petersens are a family band from Branson, Missouri. This bluegrass ensemble has traveled all around the world sharing their musical talents, but you can normally find them at home in Branson.

For ten seasons, The Petersens have performed at the Little Opry Theatre in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex. Today, they are reminding us of the magnitude of Christ’s birth with this live performance of ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.’ Just listen as they all come together to proclaim the good news.

“To save us all from Satan's pow'r
When we were gone astray
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy”

Christmas is about the celebration of Jesus’ birth. This baby boy went on to save the world and it all started in that tiny town of Bethlehem. What a blessing to share this miraculous story through song and praise. This Christmas season, remember that He is the reason we are washed of our sins and He is still the one that will save us all.

James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
