Trusting God’s Plan – Beloved Women – December 11, 2018
The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted! - Matthew 13:8:23 NIV
In life, people will try to determine when you are ready for your next place in life. The truth is, God is the only one who can control life’s seasons and timings. Although God may use people to speak into our lives and help us along the way, not everyone is for us. We have to be careful who we allow to speak into our lives.
The community we plant ourselves in should reflect the heart of God. If we aren't planted in the right environment it will impact what God has deposited on the inside of us and potentially hinder our growth. God’s desire is to grow and mature us spiritually. We must be planted in environments that posture us for growth and position us for our next season in life.
Dear Heavenly Father, despite the opinions of other people I am grateful that you know my name and the plan you have towards me. Lead me to the environments that you want me in and that will further my spiritual growth. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
How can you choose to believe God’s thoughts about you? Are you planted in an environment that is helping you grow?
