Trusting God’s Plans – Beloved Women – February 24, 2020
READ: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: When we look at our lives sometimes what we see is not what we planned to have. Some of the choices we made have taken us in a different direction than we wanted to go. Because of this, we tend to think we have missed the plan of God somewhere and made a mistake.
This line of thinking is wrong because in God’s economy, His plan always comes to pass. He has a plan, and today’s verse says that it will give us a good future and one full of hope.
Trusting God’s plan is imperative to your future. Trusting God with every detail of your life so that His plan comes to pass is the very best.
You may not know the plan, but He does. You may not see the way, but He does. You may not even understand why you are where you are, but He does.
You are never outside of God’s plan. Never outside of His reach. Never alone. His way is good, so your future is good.
PRAY: Lord, help me follow Your plan and get back on track when I have missed it. Help me today to take to heart that You have a good plan and future for me and to always hope in that truth alone. Help me to always see Your plan and trust in Your way and not my own. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.
