Set Your Love On Jesus – Beloved Women – October 1, 2020
READ: “Because he holds fast to Me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name.” (Psalms 91:14 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: Love is a powerful word, a powerful emotion, and an important part of everyone’s lives. Jesus says in Psalms 91:14 that when you set your love on Him, He will deliver you and protect you. That is some powerful love. All I have to do is set my love on Him and never let go. Set a course for love in our hearts to Him.
Setting is the hard part. We put our love in so many other things. To set something is to place it. Leave it there. Anchor it. Think about that. We set our love in many places. Our love gets moved around a lot. Sometimes our love rarely lands in Him. I don’t know about you, but I need deliverance from time to time from things. I need protection from life events. I need His power in my life.
What a promise of protection and deliverance we have. All we need to do is set our love, our affection, and our attention from the heart on Him. Today, change your course and set your love on Him.
PRAY: Lord, help me to set nothing before You, nothing beside You, and just let my love rest in You and You alone. Help me to set my love, my heart, and my everything on Your love this day and never change course. In Jesus’ Christ name, Amen.
