More Blessed to Give
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink.” – >Matthew 25:35
It’s apparent throughout God’s word that, when God’s people are generous and kind, His heart rejoices. When was the last time you’ve experienced that it’s more blessed to give than to receive? Generosity has so many different faces and facets. It’s not a 10 percent formula, not a calculated act. It hides itself in daily, seemingly unimportant acts like buying someone a meal or offering them a cup of water. Our generosity is an outward expression of our inward attitude towards money and possessions. It’s also a way God shapes us into His own images…after all, He gave it all!
