Here are few items to keep in mind as you plan:

• Plan your short and long term saving goals
• Plan for “unexpected” emergencies
• Plan for a car replacement fund
• Plan for educational expenses (yours or your children’s)
• Plan for living on just one income – even though you my be a two income family
• Plan for retirement
• Plan for vacation and Christmas expenses
• Plan for paying off your mortgage earlier
