Here are few items to keep in mind as you plan:
- Plan your short and long term saving goals
- Plan for “unexpected” emergencies
- Plan for a car replacement fund
- Plan for educational expenses (yours or your children’s)
- Plan for living on just one income – even though you my be a two income family
- Plan for retirement
- Plan for vacation and Christmas expenses
- Plan for paying off your mortgage earlier
