Seek Sound, Objective Advice
Telling someone about your financial problems is not easy. That’s why so many of us don’t reach out for help until it’s too late. Finding a trusted and objective source of counsel is often critical for those of us who simply can’t figure it out on our own. Do you know someone that’s making the right financial decisions? Ask them questions. Learn from their successes and mistakes. If you are further along on your financial journey, look for a sound financial advisor who shares your values and will be able to guide you as you look ahead to retirement, saving for kids’ college education, investing, etc.
God’s word strongly encourages us to seek wise counsel, so let’s apply this to our financial decision-making.
