Confront Your Feelings

Being honest with yourself about your feelings takes great courage. Denying them is the easiest path in the short run, but never sustainable. Feelings must be faced, considered and then healthy decisions made based upon them. They need never control us, but are an opportunity to consider the thoughts that generate the feelings. In Galatians 5 the Apostle Paul urges us to exhibit fruits of the Spirit, one of which is self-control, which is certainly applicable to our emotions.
