Appreciate Cultural Differences

Having just spent a considerable amount of time in a vastly different culture, I’m aware of the differences. It’s tempting to slip into believing that “Our way is the best way,” but this is, of course, wrong. Different peoples live differently. Different cultures believe and behave differently, and just as Jesus exhibited tolerance for people with very different values and culture, we too would do well to do the same. Be very careful about judging other cultures based upon limited understanding. They have lived a certain way for years, and as a visitor you must be respectful of their ways and culture.
