Bite Your Tongue

There are so many Scriptures pertaining to the tongue and more specifically, managing it before it manages you. How many times have we said something impulsively only to regret it later? Solomon says, “When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent” (Proverbs 10:19). Doesn’t this just say it all? When we speak our minds, using many words, we’re likely to transgress and find ourselves in a place of needing to apologize. Have you told yourself that it’s okay to speak your mind, when in reality you need to show restraint?
