Wonderfully Made – Beloved Women – July 27, 2023

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
As women, the world can make us feel that how we look, is more important than who we are. We are told to look and act a certain way, which leads to many of us focusing on beauty products and workout routines, to only change our outer appearance. However, when we ascribe our identity to our looks, we lose the power of knowing who we are in Christ.
God says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, not because of how we look, but because of who we are. We are His daughters who are made in the image of our loving and gracious Father. He has called us daughters, and is the only one who is able to define and strengthen us to be who He wants us to be.
PRAY
Dear Lord, I know I have been caught up in the lies. Please help me focus on you and what you say about my body and my life. Teach me not to fall for the world’s standards, but to pursue your standards. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray, Amen.
