It’s Time

What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Romans 4:3
When God began calling my name I was a wreck and some days I still am. Before I came to God I frequently cussed, drank, smoked, and did everything I felt like doing and all I ever felt was misery. I knew I was wrong but didn’t know what to do to fix myself. I was deceived into thinking that I could do it myself and that I did not need a Savior. For many decades I had always heard, “Religion is for the weak minded person.” Not wanting to be perceived as weak, I continued on in my struggle and own effort to do only what God could do. Save me. I didn’t know that I didn’t need to be perfect before coming to Him. Is that you?
All I had to do was believe and receive Him. It was so simple and easy that I didn’t believe it. But, it’s true and it’s time for you too. You’ve been here long enough. It is by grace that I am saved not by anything that I do or have done. It is a gift from God. I believed I received His redemption by faith. And so can you, today.
We all have been given a measure of faith to believe and receive God’s gift of life and scripture tells us:
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Romans 12:3 NIV
For some of you reading this, these words are sinking heavy into your soul and God is waiting for you to simply receive Him. He desires to give you hope and a future. You’re tired. You’ve done all you can do. Just believe and receive. Give up the fight. Today there is more uncertainty than ever before and it’s time to make a decision and choose life. Believe God.
The Bible is clear and told us that disease would come and there would be many signs in the last days.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Matthew 24:7 KJV
Later in Matthew 24:33 NIV, Jesus continues to share, “Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.”
What are you waiting for? More signs that the end is near? My prayer today is that you answer the call of the Lord. He is waiting on the porch of your life to save you. He doesn’t want you to be afraid and unsettled anymore. Trust God today and allow Him to show you His goodness and His mercy even during these times. Don’t be left behind!
Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. Matthew 25:11-13 NIV
Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept You out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear You knocking. By faith I gratefully receive Your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank You for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe Your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.
