He Shouldn't Miss This One

"Here's the scenario" the instructor announces to his class of novice truck drivers.

"You're driving an 18-wheeler with a very heavy load, barreling along a mountainous two-lane road. Ed, your co-driver, is asleep in the overhead bunk. There are six heavily loaded trucks behind you and, as you come over the top of the hill, they all pull out to pass you. Suddenly you see several trucks coming in the opposite direction, pulling into your lane to pass. What do you do now?"

"That's simple," one student replied. "I'd wake up Ed."

"Why would you do that?" asked the instructor.

"Because," replied the student, "Ed ani't never seen a wreck like this one's goin' to be!"
