Charge!

After eight days of backpacking with our friends Michael and Rhonda, we were all looking pretty scruffy. One morning Rhonda came to breakfast in a baseball cap, her shoulder-length hair sticking out at odd angles.
"Michael," she said to her husband, "does my hair make me look like a water buffalo?"
He thought for a minute, then said, "If I tell you the truth, do you promise not to charge?"
