Escape Artist

A police officer was responding to a report of a disturbance. The 'disturbance' turned out to be a giant of a man, well over six feet tall and weighing at least 300 pounds. What's more, he not only boasted that he could whip the cop, but the likes of Mohammad Ali as well.
"I'll wager you're an escape artist too," the cop said. "Possibly even better than Houdini."
"Yep," the giant nodded.
"If I had some chains, you could show us how strong you really are," said the cop. "Unfortunately, all I have is a set of handcuffs. Why don't you see how quickly you can break out of them?"
Once the cuffs were on, the man jerked, twisted and pulled for minutes and finally growled, "I can't seem to get out of these."
"Are you positive?" the cop asked.
After trying again, the giant said, "Nope. I just can't seem to do it."
"Good," replied the cop. "In that case, you're under arrest!"
