Groaner for 2/20/03

When Benny became a young man and his beard and moustache began growing in, he was visited by his fairy godmother who told him that his happiness and perfect world depended upon his never shaving. That if he did, he would be turned into an vase.

Well, Benny met a sweet young maiden, fell head over heels in love with her and asked her to marry him. She replied that she would, but he would have to shave, at least for the wedding.

As Benny prepared to shave, his fairy godmother appeared once again and warned him about what would happen.

Benny said, "I've always obeyed you, but I've met someone with whom I want to spend the rest of my life and I am going to please her by shaving."

The fairy godmother replied, "Okay, but remember a Benny shaved is a . . . Benny urned."
