How I Spent My Christmas Vacation

It's the first day at school after Christmas and Miss Jones decides it's a good idea to see how each member of the class spent their Christmas day. First, she turns to John.

"John, how did you spend your Christmas day?" she asked...

"Well, Miss," he said " we got up really early to see if Santa had remembered where we live, and we found lots of gifts under our Christmas tree. We had fun opening the gifts and playing with our toys then we had a lovely Christmas lunch and aunties and uncles came round and we had a brilliant supper time then we went to bed."

"That's great" said Miss Jones. "How about you Samantha?"

"Hmmmmmmm," she said. "Well, we got up early, had some breakfast, opening one gift from under the tree, then went to church to wish Jesus, Happy Birthday! Then we went home, opening the remaining gifts and had a lovely afternoon with family and friends celebrating God's love for us."

Each member of the class gave their news of Christmas day and finally she looked over at Isaac,

"Now, I know as a a Jewish family you don't celebrate Christmas as we do, but would you like to share with us your day??"

"Miss, we had a wonderful day" he said with much enthusiasm. "We got up really early, had a little breakfast, and then went for a long walk, and came home for lunch. In the afternoon we got ready and went down to my uncle's toy warehouse. As my uncle opened the door we saw rows of empty shelves, then we gathered together in a circle, held hands and sang.....

"WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS............
