Giving Thanks

Freddy had long planned the meal. Shortly before dinner, little Fred announced to his mother that he did not know what to say prior to the meal to the many friends he had invited to dinner. "What should I say, mama?" "Well, just before we eat, just say what you have always heard me say many times." Freddy stood at the table surrounded by his guests and began to pray: " Lord, O Lord, why did I ever invite so many people to this house on such a day as today?"
