One foot right after the other...

A three year old was putting his shoes on all-by-himself. His mother noticed the left shoe was on the right foot, with the right shoe following suit. She said, "Son, your shoes are on the wrong feet." He paused for a moment, then looked up at her with a big smirk as he said, "Don't kid me, Mom! I KNOW they're my feet."
