What The Doctor Said

A man goes to the doctor, who examines him. The doc then asks the man to wait outside, and talks to the man's wife:

"Your husband has a very rare and life-threatening disease. Only you can help him."

"Me?" says the woman, "What can I do?"

"Well," says the doc, "He needs a completely stress-free environment. Therefore, each day when he comes home from work, you must be dressed up nicely, and have his favorite meal ready on the table for him. You must never argue or nag him about anything, and under no circumstances should you ever ask him to do any chores around the house. You must be ready to meet his every need."

On the way home, the fellow says, "So what did the doctor say, Honey?"

"He said you're going to die."
