"A Man and His Pit"

A man walked out of his house and fell into a pit. Realizing that he couldn't get out, he waited
for someone to come and save him.
An Environmentalist came by and wanted to ban the pit.
A Lawyer came by and wanted to sue him because of the pit.
A Realtor came by and wanted to sell the pit.
A Dairyman came by and wanted to put manure in the pit.
A Fireman came by and wanted to condemn the pit.
An Atheist came by and said the pit didn't exist.
A Catholic priest came by and wanted to sprinkle the pit.
A Jehovah's Witness came by and wanted to convert the pit.
A Mormon came by and wanted to store food in the pit.
A Feminist came by and said a woman would have never fallen in the pit.
A Contractor came by and wanted to fill in the pit.
A Democrat came by and wanted to tax the pit.
A Republican came by and wanted to throw the liberal into the pit.
A Pessimist came by and said "You'll never get out of the pit."
A Servant of the Lord came by and offered a way out of the pit.
He buit a ladder so the man could get out of the pit.
And now this man spends his time helping others out of their own pits.
