The Flag

Over lunch in a small diner a visiting Dutchman was explaining the red, white, and blue Netherlands flag to his American friend.
He began, "You see, our flag is symbolic of our taxes.
We get red when we talk about them.
We turn white when we get our tax bills.
And we feel blue after we pay them."
The American nodded thoughtfully and said. "It's the same in the USA only we see stars too!"
