FUNNY how a ten dollar bill looks so big when you take it to church, but so small when you take it to the supermarket! (Ouch!)
FUNNY how reading the church bulletin is a chore, but reading a thirty-page newspaper every day is a habit you grow to enjoy!
FUNNY how long an hour is...spent in church, but how short it is when golfing, fishing, or watching TV!
FUNNY how we applaud when the ball game goes overtime but complain if the church service goes a few minutes over an hour!
FUNNY how laborious it is to read a chapter in the Bible, but how easy it is to read a 300 page novel!
FUNNY how people scramble to get a front row seat at the ball game and scramble for a back seat in church!
FUNNY how parents are so concerned about school lessons and sports games for their children, but so lax about giving them a faith foundation for life through Sunday School attendance.
It would all be very FUNNY...if it weren't so tragically true!
