God’s GPS

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Think

“Let go and die to yourself.”  Basically, this is what God is telling us to do in today’s passage. But it’s easier said than done, right?   How do we know we can trust God or the leaders He has appointed in our lives?  The short answer is, we don’t. Trust is really all about faith.  If we have faith in God, we trust Him.  If we come to church every week and share in the vision of the Pastor and leaders, we trust them as well.

Trusting God with your life, your dreams and your destiny is part of the walk you chose when you accept Christ into your life.  God gave you spiritual leaders to help be a guide…your GPS.  So learn to let go, and let God lead the way!

Pray

Pray that God would help you to let go and “die to yourself”.  Ask Him to help you trust Him more with your life and your future.  Tell Him how much you want to listen, trust, and obey His voice.

Act

Make a list of all the ways God has blessed your life. Reflect on how much He is worthy of trusting.  God will never steer you wrong, so thank Him for that.
