He Knows My Ways
“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.” – >Hebrews 7:25
Wouldn’t it be great if we could treat certain moments in life like Snap Chat - the phone app where you take a picture, post it and then seconds later it vanishes. So that mess-up would be gone like it never happened and no one would know about it. However, because God has this all-knowing attribute called omniscience, He not only knows about the mess-up, He knew about it before it happened. We try to pretend like it didn’t happen, but we can’t. Those reminders of what happened continue to pop up like the pictures we thought had disappeared. To make the news even worse, we convince ourselves that this could not be forgiven.
But here’s the good news. Forgiveness is exactly what God is waiting to give us. Right now Jesus is praying for us – interceding for us - to come clean and confess what we have tried unsuccessfully to hide. It’s true that God already knows about it. It’s also true that He loves you anyway. Don’t fall prey to the enemy’s lies and accusations. Know what God want you to experience the forgiveness a relationship with His brings if we only ask.
Let God know what you have been unsuccessfully hiding from Him. Ask Him to forgive you so that you can experience His love and grace. If you have never accepted God's love and forgiveness, do it today.
Use Jesus’ example and pray for someone specific today who needs to know God’s love in their life.
