For my family, 1997 was the year we desperately needed a fresh start and a dose of hope. The previous two years had brought the awareness of our son’s autism, the financial challenges of starting a business, a split from our church and small group, and worst of all, my wife’s battle with breast cancer.
Turning the page of the calendar to January, 1997 brought hope and the possibilities that come with a new year.
Psalm 146:5 teaches, “Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God.”
A new year can remind us of a fresh start. Whether it’s a new year, or a new day, we can carry the hope that with God each day is a fresh start.
Start the New Year by using IRC’s consulting services to shape a biblically based culture in your workplace.
