A Corrupt Greece

As Greece struggles for financial survival the world is taking a closer look at Greece's problems. The Wall Street Journal featured an article discussing the impact of corruption on this country's woes.
One out of every seven Greeks bribed someone last year, according to a Transparency International study. Due to less taxes collected, this bribery and other public corruption has contributed significantly to the public debt of Greece. When the culture of a nation turns corrupt, the volume of evil rises.
Psalm 14:3 teaches, "All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one."
As much as we like to think others are basically good, it's important to remember that it doesn't take many to turn an entire culture towards corruption.
