Judges 16:22-31

the blog.
The Philistine royalty brought Samson out to "entertain" them at a feast where they were celebrating Samson's capture and defeat. They were praising their god (little "g"), Dagon, for giving Samson into their hands. But God (big "G") was in control and had different plans for the evening. In response to his prayer, God empowers a now humbled and blind Samson who literally brings down the house on the Philistine lords and guests, killing "more than those whom he had killed during his life" (vs. 30).
