Summer can be a time of joy—but also pressure. Vacations, schedules, family dynamics, or the fear of wasted time can distract us from what God truly offers: rest for the soul. In this peaceful nightly prayer, we invite God to help us embrace rest and relaxation over summer break, not as laziness or escape—but as spiritual renewal. 🙏 A Prayer to Embrace Summer Rest: Lord, Thank You for the gift of summer. In a season filled with sun, activity, and long days, help me not rush past the invitation to simply rest. Teach me how to embrace rest and relaxation over summer break—to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the beauty You’ve placed around me. When I feel pressure to be productive or compare my summer to others, remind me that true rest is found in You. Let this season be one of renewal for my body, mind, and spirit. Whether I’m traveling or staying home, busy with family or alone in quiet, help me remain aware of Your presence. Give me permission to unplug. To laugh more. To sit in the stillness. To rest without guilt—knowing that even Jesus stepped away to restore His strength. I receive Your peace, Lord. And I ask You to make this summer not just fun, but holy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
