Donald Trump recently attended a meeting with 30 evangelical leaders who prayed over him.

Charisma News reports that Megachurch pastor Paula White set up the meeting attended by evangelical leaders such as Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Jentezen Franklin, David Jeremiah, Jan Crouch, Steve Munsey, Jews for Jesus Rabbi Kirt Schneider, Bishop George Bloomer, Bishop Darrell Scott, and Clarence McClendon.

The leaders met in Trump Tower in New York City, the skyscraper owned by the billionaire businessman.

Kenneth Copeland laid his hands on Trump and prayed for him.

"No man can be successful as president of the United States without Your wisdom,” Copeland prayed. “And so we ask You today to give this man Your wisdom, boldly. Make sure and certain that he hears. Manifest Yourself to him. "And we thank You and praise You for a bold man, a strong man and an obedient man."

According to Christian Today, one pastor, Darrell Scott, was won over by Trump, stating that “He has a very high regard and a very deep respect for men and women of the cloth.”

Scott also stated that he was impressed with how attentively Trump listened to what the religious leaders had to say, and even took their criticism that he should tone down his rhetoric.

Although Trump has been the frontrunner in the polls, his lead is slipping.

Christian Today reports that in an interview Trump acknowledged, “This is going to be an ebb and flow, how can I continue to lead by such wide margins?”

Trump has also stated that if he wins the election, he will send all Syrian refugees back. Trump has expressed his outrage that the U.S. has agreed to accept 200,000 Syrian refugees, stating that letting the refugees in could lead to an infiltration by the Islamic State.
