That’s the Ticket
That’s the Ticket

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it. (Acts 4:12)
Great Seats
Ben and his dad had great tickets to a minor league baseball game. They were so close to the action, one of the players tossed them a ball during the game. That’s not all. Ben was even chosen from the small crowd to announce, “Play ball!” just before the first pitch. And if that wasn’t enough, young Ben also had the chance to race the team mascot around the bases between innings. Ben’s dad thought surely that if such special treatment kept up, his son would have had the chance to play third base by the end of the night.
But none of it would’ve been possible without that ticket.
Truly Priceless
As fun as the baseball game was for Ben and his dad, it pales in comparison to what heaven will be like. Consider the peace and contentment of an eternity spent in Christ’s presence. Revelation 21:4 says, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.” Peace and joy forever. Wow!
That’s humbling, isn’t it? What’s most incredible, however, is that there’s no cost to you for such complete and utter joy. Your cost of admission has already been picked up by Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. There’s no need to camp out or line up around the block. The ticket is yours for the asking!
Bottom Line
Your entry into heaven has already been bought and paid for by Jesus Christ. Take some time to thank Him for that today.
