Mountains

Build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. (Jude 20)

Total Communication

Ever wish you could talk to your wife, update your Facebook page, and text your children—all while you’re driving? Okay, that would be dangerous. But with technological advances it’s possible. Today’s society puts a premium on being connected. We want to be able to communicate with who we want, when we want, for as long as we want.

Although wireless technology is a relatively new advancement in the scope of history, we’ve actually had the ability to communicate with God in this manner for thousands of years. The Bible tells us that anywhere we are is a good place to pray.

Solid Connection

As the world becomes more interconnected, we shouldn’t lose sight of the importance of our all-access pass to the Creator of the universe. God gives us unlimited minutes and perfect WiFi reception to talk with Him at any time and about anything that concerns us. When we ask God to watch over us, when we pray to Him for wisdom, when we thank Him for His blessings, it takes some of the burden from our shoulders and helps us grow closer to Him. And as we see God answer those prayers, He becomes even more real in our lives.

Committing to communicate frequently with the important people in your life is critical to maintaining strong relationships. It’s no different with God. Keep the communication lines open through constant prayer.

Bottom Line

Take advantage of God’s invitation to pray constantly. Start at five minutes a day and strive for a continuous conversation.
