Set in the 1970s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie street preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a Jesus Revolution. This is not as much a faith-based movie as it is a historical telling of a story about faith and revival. It brings to life the historical events of the late 60 and early 70s that lead to “The Jesus Movement.”

Greg Laurie is the senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship with campuses in California and Hawaii and a featured speaker of public evangelistic events called Harvest Crusades. In 2020, and in partnership with Kingdom Story Company, Laurie premiered his first-ever cinematic crusade, A Rush of Hope, viewed by over 2 million people in its opening weekend. Laurie’s other films include Steve McQueen: American Icon, Hope for Hurting Hearts, and Lost Boy. Laurie is also the host of nationally syndicated television and radio programs and the author of over 70 books, including Johnny Cash: The Redemption of an American Icon. You may recognize Joel Courtney from Netflix's The Kissing Booth, Jonathan Roumie from The Chosen, Kimberly Williams-Paisley from Father of the Bride, Anna Grace Barlow from The Goldbergs, and Kelsey Grammer from Frasier. This stellar cast tells the powerful true story of a divided moment in time when people came together by checking their preconceptions at the door – and formed a movement by listening to each other and looking beyond their own beliefs. What a remarkable event to portray with an even more remarkable message! This movie is sure to be a reminder of God's vast love and the work that can happen when we set aside pride and judgment.

You can learn more about this film and request tickets for a special national preview showing on February 22, 2023, here. Join thousands of people across America as they experience this profound true story of revival on the same day, at the same time. The movie's release date is February 24, 2023. We hope you see it!
