A Cappella Performance of Classic Hymn 'Above All'

“Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began”

Today, Chris Rupp is belting out these worship-filled words and it’s absolutely stunning.

Chris Rupp rose to fame as a member of the a cappella group, Home Free. Over the past few years, Chris has ventured out on his own and he’s already made a name for himself in the music industry.

Now, he uses his voice to delight audiences with his creative covers and unique arrangements. As the song reaches a crescendo, Chris lifts his arms in worship, in complete awe of the sacrifice Christ made for us. Just listen as he leads us in worship with the words of ‘Above All.’

“Crucified laid behind the stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose trampled on the ground, You took the fall
And thought of me, above all”

God gave His only Son to die on the cross for our sins. Because of that sacrifice, we are all freed from our chains and can live out our eternal life in Heaven. 

This ultimate gift can never be repaid but we can use our voices to lift His Name up in the praise for all of the world to hear.
