'God Really Loves Us' Live Performance by Crowder, Passion, and Chidima
  • Updated Mar 16, 2022

Listen to this wonderful live performance of the song ‘God Really Loves Us’ from Passion, Crowder, and Chidima at the Passion 2022 Conference. Passion Conference is a Christian organization founded in 1997 by Louie Giglio. It is an annual gathering of young adults, and offers three days of worship and hearing from speakers. It is beautiful to see such spontaneous worship and so many people being touched by the words "God really loves us." What a reminder we need as the world constantly pulls us in every direction and distracts us from our true Savior and Friend.

“I’ve got a friend, closer than a brother, there is no judgment, oh how he loves me
I’ve got a friend, and He is my strength, He is my portion, with me in the valley"

What a beautiful song that reminds us that Jesus is our closest, most steadfast companion. We are never alone, because we have a true friend in him.

In the live performance of ‘God Really Loves Us,’ Crowder and Chidima are worshiping on stage in front of thousands of young people who are also singing out to God. What an amazing moment to witness; so many people coming together to praise and worship our Heavenly Father.

"With me in the fire, with me in the storm, let all my life testify
Hallelujah, we are not alone, God really loves us, God really loves us
Hallelujah, oh praise, my soul, God really loves us, God really loves us”

The love of God is like nothing else. There is no other kind of love to compare it to. And this powerful song reminds us of that truth! Some of the scripture references that can be found in the song ‘God Really Loves Us’ include John 3:16, 1 John 4:16, and Jeremiah 31:3.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘God Really Loves Us’ from Passion, Crowder, and Chidima today! Let the song remind you of how much God truly loves and cares for us, and we will never find ourselves forsaken by Him. He is our rock and firm foundation.

1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
