‘South Park’ Shocks with Trump-Satan Bed Scene and Cursing Jesus

Jesus cursed. Trump climbed into bed with Satan. And viewers laughed. Should we be? This latest South Park episode pushes every boundary and exposes just how far our culture has drifted from reverence.

‘South Park’ Shocks with Trump-Satan Bed Scene and Cursing Jesus

A new controversial episode of South Park features a nude Donald Trump in bed with Satan and a cursing Jesus giving a town legal advice -- two of dozens of over-the-top moments that some observers say are the creators’ way of daring the former president to sue. The episode aired Wednesday night, just one day after South Park’s parent company, Paramount, announced a new agreement for 50 episodes over the next five years -- a deal reportedly worth $1.5 billion. It also aired just days after Paramount settled a lawsuit with Donald Trump, agreeing to pay $16 million to resolve a dispute over a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris that Trump claimed was deceptively edited. The settlement drew criticism from media law experts, who said Paramount likely would have won in court.

Paramount has been treading carefully since Trump’s re-election, aware that it still needs federal approval to finalize its merger with Skydance Media. On Tuesday, CBS announced the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, ending the run of one of late night’s most outspoken critics of Trump. Paramount owns CBS.

But South Park, a satirical series known for targeting every side of the ideological spectrum -- conservatives once praised an episode lampooning the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s sports -- skewered not only Trump but also Paramount itself.

In the latest South Park episode, Trump sues the town for $5 billion after residents challenge the inclusion of faith in their local elementary school. While the townspeople prepare for a legal battle, Jesus urges them to back down, citing what happened to CBS and jokingly warning, “Do you really want to end up like Colbert?” At one point, Jesus curses.

Meanwhile, Trump lines the White House with nude portraits of himself and crawls into bed with Satan, who rejects his advances and mocks his anatomy. Satan also confronts Trump and alleges his name appears on the Epstein list. Several times throughout the episode, a fully nude Trump appears on screen -- mostly in animated form, though one scene features a deepfake-style AI version.

Although Trump himself had not commented on the episode as of Thursday afternoon, the White House did on his behalf.

“The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end -- for years they have come after ‘South Park’ for what they labeled as ‘offense’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show,” White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Variety. “Just like the creators of ‘South Park,’ the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.

“This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention,” the statement added. “President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history -- and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”
