Just One More

by Berni Dymet

Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."

Sometimes, we can feel that there are so many people crowding around God… there's no room for us.  I remember the first time I stepped inside a church - just a little one mind you, 30 or so people….and I'd just given my life to Jesus.

I was so intimidated…they all knew the words to the songs and how to pray, they knew the "language" - you know what I mean.  Surely, there was no room for me.  I knew nothing.

There was a time when Jesus was surrounded by huge crowds.  And some men had a friend who couldn't walk.  They wanted to bring him to Jesus to be healed…..but they couldn't get into the building where He was.

So they went up on the roof - they ripped off the roof and dug through it and lowered the man down to where He was.  Now that was extreme.

Was Jesus annoyed?  No - He saw their faith, forgave the man His sins and He healed Him.

You see, with Jesus - there's always room, for just one more.
