I Know I Am Saved…But?

May 7, 2013

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9

The moment you were saved you enter into a relationship with God. Many years may have gone by since that time in your life and yet you know something is wrong. What ever happened to those days in your life when you were first saved? Why does God seem so distant? You can know that you are never out of relationship with God but you can be out of fellowship.

The reason we do not sense God’s presence in our life is because of our unconfessed sin and therefore, we follow Him at a guilty distance. When we humbly bow before God and confess our sins, the weight is removed, the guilt is lifted, we are at peace with God and our fellowship is restored. Spend time alone with God and talk to Him today!
