Remember What God Has Done for You – Beloved Women – August 3, 2023

“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.” - Psalm 9:1-2 ESV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

As I’ve recently been reading the Book of Psalm, I’ve discovered this book will truly take you to the heart of prayer, praise, worship and calling upon God. For example, Psalm 9 says to give thanks and recount/remember what God has done. Remembering what God has done in your life is sometimes the very thing that we need to pick ourselves up, and remember that our God is faithful in the ups and the downs.

As we remember to give thanks, we’re reminded that God never changes and He has never left us, no matter the circumstance. Be encouraged to write down your walk with the Lord so that you can remember His goodness. As we’re reminded of His faithfulness, we can rest assured that what God did in the past, He can surely do again.

PRAY

Dear Lord Jesus, may I remember and look back over your faithfulness. You don’t change and you deserve my thankful heart. May I sing your praises and give thanks for all that you have done in my life. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray, Amen.
