Persevere with Grace - Beloved Women - March 16, 2021
READ: “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
TODAY'S ENCOURAGEMENT: Your life matters to God, including the routine daily details. The work that God calls us to do isn’t in vain, and Galatians 6:9 reminds us that we indeed, will reap a harvest if we don’t give up. When we feel stretched or wanting to throw in the towel, this scripture reminds us that we are to persevere. God encourages us to persevere through adversity and obstacles because it helps to develop our spiritual maturity.
When an Olympic runner nears the end of a race, he or she musters enough strength to cross the finish line. We are to persevere with the assurance that God’s grace is sufficient. Persevere to fulfill the purposes that God has for you. Persevere to share your testimony of God’s faithfulness. Persevere for the next generation to reap a harvest. Persevere with grace. God will sustain you with every season.
PRAY: Dear God, Thank You for reminding me that there is a purpose in my perseverance. You have called me to great things, and Your Spirit will strengthen me for the journey ahead. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
REFLECT: What is an area of your life that you can pray to God for continued perseverance?
