But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
"The shepherd's story confirms that God's peace is for everyone, meets us in fear, lifts us from insignificance, and invites us into joy. Because of Jesus, we are never overlooked, forgotten, or alone."
