When Your Emotional Pain Feels Relentless - Crosswalk PLUS Video Devotional

Welcome Crosswalk PLUS subscribers! These raw, uncut video takes on Scripture are brought to you ad-free from the hearts of your favorite Crosswalk contributors. We'll examine a Bible verse, application and prayer in five minutes or less as an encouraging way to start any day.

Today's verse is Psalm 13:1-2 with Jennifer Slattery.

How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

"God Almighty loves us. Loves you with a love bigger than all your pain, your shame, your confusion, your sin, and your unmet longings. He will deal bountifully with you as Psalm 13:6 states, and in fact already has. According to John 1:16, we've received grace upon grace, so more than we could ever need or possibly exhaust."
