In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.
"Aren't you glad that God, instead of making it overly complicated for us, has simply said, in him, in Christ - Paul is telling us - we have already obtained an inheritance. We don't have to think about it. We don't have to fret about it. We don't have to pay taxes on it... there's nothing we have to do except accept it."
