Paul is now on his way to Rome to present his case to Caesar, but travel in Paul's time, was no easy undertaking. The way to Rome was by boat and the weather and conditions end up being dangerous. Paul warns the centurion in charge and others on the boat that they should not sail on further, but his advice is ignored. Almost immediately a storm hits and the lives of everyone on the ship are in jeopardy. Paul again offers advice and also encouragement, and this time, his suggestions are noted and followed.
