Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision.

--Nehemiah 2:17

There are three kinds of people in this world: Those who don’t know what’s happening, those who watch what is happening, and those who make something happen!

Nehemiah was a man who made things happen. And that’s the kind of Christian I want to be!

The first step to solving any problem is to identify it. Nehemiah inspected the walls of Jerusalem and realized that something had to be done. Sometimes we need someone from the outside to come in and help us identify our problem.

The people of Jerusalem had been living and walking among the city’s broken walls for decades without doing anything about it. It took a godly person with a vision and dedication to the Lord to realize the need for action.

Do you need to see something happen in your life today? Perhaps a new perspective would help.

Try altering your normal, everyday routine so you can look at things from a new angle—and God just may give you not only a new insight into an old problem, but a plan of action to solve it!

THE FIRST STEP TO SOLVING A PROBLEM IS TO IDENTIFY IT.
