Because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.

Philemon 1:5-7

What are some keys to sharing your faith on a daily basis?
The first key to giving your faith away every day is to be open to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. God is at work in the lives of men, women and children all around you… and He wants to use you to help them come to know Jesus.

If you are open to the Holy Spirit… and sensitive to His gentle promptings… you will walk into divine opportunities to share your faith every single day.

The second key to giving your faith away is to be obedient. Once you have felt the Lord’s gentle nudge to make that phone call… to buy that gift… or to visit that person… don’t be slow to act! Be sure to obey the Lord right away!

Often the Lord will prompt you at a specific moment so you can deliver a timely word to a person who is in desperate need. For you to delay might cause you to miss that crucial moment.

The third important key to giving your faith away is to be observant. Sometimes it is possible to see that God is at work in someone’s life and that they are becoming more open to talking about Christ.

So pay attention to what is happening in the lives of those around you. And take every opportunity to speak into situations where you know that people are ready and open to hearing about Jesus!

The Lord is constantly presenting you and me with opportunities to share our faith! The challenge before us—every single day—is to become more open to the Holy Spirit… more obedient to His promptings… and more observant of the opportunities around us!
