Romans 8:10-11

If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Since God the Father gave Jesus life after death, you know that He is able to also give you life after death!

“If Christ is in you”— that is, if you are born again, your spirit has been redeemed; it has eternal life, even though you still live in your fallen body. When your body dies, your spirit will go to be with the Lord. But one day “Him who raised Christ Jesus from the dead” will also redeem your body. You will be raised physically from the dead with an unfallen resurrection body when Christ returns to this earth to bring this fallen age to an end.

This redemption of your spirit and your body were purchased for you by Christ at the cross. You already experience the joy of your spirit’s redemption. Your body’s redemption is waiting for that final day (Romans 8:23). Until then we still get sick and die. But God is reminding you today not to fear death because it is not the end. After death comes the joy of unending, complete redemption.
