CityGate Studios is hosting a one-day event designed to give creatives more than just inspiration. CREATE2026 has Christian filmmakers, writers, actors, entrepreneurs, content creators, and songwriter / musicians in mind, and is intentional about helping each attendee take the next step forward in their own creative journey.

Industry Insights to Help Creatives Take Their Project to the Next Level

“Creative people often have the talent and the vision, but they need relationships, honest feedback, and a clearer path forward,” CityGate Studios CEO Trey Milner told the Christian Newswire. “We want people to leave CREATE2026 with more than a notebook full of ideas. We want them to meet someone they can work with, ask the question that has been holding them back, and take a meaningful step toward what they feel called to create.”

Creatives spend time and money attending conferences every year, and many are hopeful of finding just the right mentor, collaborator, and, especially, the right opportunity to take their project to the next level. CREATE2026 was built to offer attendees the opportunity to meet industry pros who will impart wisdom and knowledge from their years of experience. In addition, the conference will also help attendees find fellow creatives with whom they can connect and build a meaningful network, according to the CityGate Studios CREATE 2026 website. CityGate Studios offers creative development, video and audio post-production services, according to its website. A few projects to which it has contributed include The Lego Movie, Son of Abraham, and Just One More, to name a few.

What the Workshops Offer Attendees

Some of the workshops being offered in 2026 include Cory Binks with techniques for becoming a social media influencer, Tre Corley and Charles Westmoreland on music industry business today, Kyler Cook on directing a feature film, Bob Saenez and Cheryl McKay Price on pitching your screenplay, Katelyn Mills on the craft and business of acting, John Steward on distribution in the faith space, and several more workshops are being offered.

The conference will be taking place on Saturday, November 7, from 8:30 am – 11:00 pm. The fee for the conference is $50, and it’s taking place at 3100 Medlock Bridge Rd., Suite 110, Peachtree Corners, GA 30071.
